Oh, that’s perfect! Short and sweet and tells it all, great inclusion of the skull in the picture.

Ooh, Marian, this is fantastic. Iāve just written a stacked Etheree from the skullās point of view, and your ādeaths jealousyā echoes that so beautifully for me. Lovely poem šš

Hello Marian. I’m glad you found Tanka Tuesday through David. He’s the best for helping you through your first submission. Let me know if you need more help. This Waterhouse painting is so full of possibilities. I wonder what she saw in that crystal ball? ā¤

That’s for the original prompt with the painting by Waterhouse… And, if you’re curious, here’s the link to the prompt itself –

BTW, please feel free to call me ‘David’, which is my first name. The word ‘ben’ simply means ‘son of’ in Hebrew, and my father’s name was ‘Alexander’ – I created my blog in his memory.
All best,
David

David, thanks for doing that. I was just about to follow the instructions again. I will go back into your site and copy the link reciprocally to my blog post. Sorry for my mistake with the “ben” I should have known that.
Best wishes,
Marian
PS. I amended a couple of words in the Haiku in my blog – I think it is improved now. The last two words of the 2nd line.
