a cold moon cast rainbow rings
on a ruined town
before the snow fell
a cold moon cast rainbow rings
on a ruined town
dressing in the cold
cloudy breath and stamping feet
colours blue and gold
pastel painted sky
the soft crunch of passing feet
a nip in the air
winter trees ablaze
branches stark on flaming sky
one of nature’s tricks
I dream so I write ..
