Afire with colour
autumn leaves light Mont-Tremblant
in radiant hues
Afire with colour
autumn leaves light Mont-Tremblant
in radiant hues
white skeletal trees
whispering in the forest
tell of an ice storm
At last a breeze to
chase the shadows and save me
from recalcitrance
When shadows conspire
day considers its options
squatting ‘neath a cloud
When night overstays
pushing darkness into day
shadows congregate
Conspiracy of
darkness keeping light away
trees stand like sentries
In solitary
confinement we stop, we pause.
finally, we breathe
Introspective days
will find me in a garden
talking to the plants
Balanced on a leaf
fleeting thoughts reflected, in
tiny drops of dew
At times my world, is
reflected in a raindrop,
clinging to a twig
I dream so I write ..
