a mouse family
playing in fallen petals
of cherry blossoms
comedic sketches
reviewed in full wakefulness
the nonsense of dreams
how weird the weather
twenty degrees and sunshine
next week’s forecast – snow
single pink blossom
photographed on a hanging twig
friends in far places
oh joy a promise,
sunshine to warm winter toes
two days, more or less
dare to step outside
gathering of six, but where?
it has been so long
I pull back the drapes
dust motes floating on sunrays
the buzz of a bee
waking scratchy-eyed,
ragged-haired from tossing through
unremembered dreams
long tail of a storm
ripping blossoms from the trees
a fruitless autumn
trees lend their blossom
to an uninvited guest
wedding confetti
I dream so I write ..
