Waiting for a train
in Glasgow’s Central Station
pigeons have no feet
Once it is over
we will see what an awful
shambles we have made
resplendent peacock
folding his radiant tail
dines on scattered fries
So many people
imprisoned within the walls
of their homes and minds
Amidst pandemic
chaos, a time for quiet
contemplation
angry winter wind
punishes the forest trees
peace returns with spring
We tell them reflect
freely think of how you think
but fitting our frame
Sleep comes fitfully
snatches of unfinished dreams
dress day in grey garb
Snowfall in Athens
the softest of coverings
quietest of dreams
I dream so I write ..
