I am envious
of Finland’s white counterpane.
Here snow comes and goes
I am envious
of Finland’s white counterpane.
Here snow comes and goes
In early morning
while the world remains asleep
be still, contemplate
Bag on my doorstep
a warm spicy smell steams out
pandemic angel
Something about plaid
its interwoven stripes form
squares in heather tones
Bend stretch bend stretch bend
bend stretch bend stretch bend stretch bend
bend stretch bend stretch done
Hurling needles of
ice, wind and rain fight it out
a perfect battle
within their four walls
was much talking and laughing
before the third wave
The miles between us
in times of separation
bind us and keep us
A woman alone
with her thoughts and memories
drinks a cup of tea
Wherever we are
At this moment of reading
we are together
I dream so I write ..
