waking scratchy-eyed,
ragged-haired from tossing through
unremembered dreams
waking scratchy-eyed,
ragged-haired from tossing through
unremembered dreams
long tail of a storm
ripping blossoms from the trees
a fruitless autumn
trees lend their blossom
to an uninvited guest
wedding confetti
that deep-throated kiss
blushing pink flowers aquiver
excited bees buzz
dreaming of writing
elusive stories etched on
the eyelids of sleep
the first bees, flying
in furry coats, give flowers
their welcoming kiss
birds are hunkered down
in a newly budded tree
a morning shower
every keystroke
marks a beat a measured stroke
a binding minute
an operative
under constant surveillance
a chained dog barking
that queezy feeling
sun flashing through trees at speed
a schedule too full
I dream so I write ..
