gleaming silver moon
lingers in the morning sky
catching sun’s first kiss
gleaming silver moon
lingers in the morning sky
catching sun’s first kiss
a tree bare of leaves
old people with walking sticks
our two dogs barking
a photographer
in quiet solitude steals
a perfect moment
autumn wind
humbled by a spindly tree
clinging to its leaves
by the lake a tree
so frail, its delicate leaves
defying the wind
a single gold leaf
lies on a bed of dark stones
floating in the mind
autumn convention
a circle of ladybugs
chews over the day
a sickly buff sky
hangs leaden while folk look down
stepping over cracks
rain is always wet
but today it is wetter
seeping to the skin
making miso soup
with noodles and peas and beans
a cool autumn day
I dream so I write ..
