a map of the world
its continents laid out flat
looks so frail this way
a map of the world
its continents laid out flat
looks so frail this way
snow flakes falling soft
falling hard falling through a
thickening grey sky
below our window
muffled sounds of skidding tyres
heavy laden trees
a new variant
obliterating snow-storm
rush on the markets
a knock at the door
a dog wild with excitement
her walker and pack
a girl and her dog
a blackbird on a gravestone
singing prettily
a sudden cold gust
a curtain lifts, a mat skuds
past his slippered feet
a white vapour trail
silver blade cleaving the sky
slices through the blue
white fluffy dog meets
muddy path, a dripping beast
rising from a bog
walking with our dog
marking his favourite spots
